Anti-Corruption Textbook Released Standartnews - 2004/4/21
Within three months a textbook against corruption will be released. That's what became clear after the discussion on the problems of secondary education, organized by 'Coalition 2000'. Projects for anti-corruption education will be implemented in the secondary schools in Sofia, Plovdiv, Sliven and Varna, said Zhivka Damyanova, coordinator of the project. She stressed the priorities the non-governmental sector works out. Better coordination between students, teachers and parents is aimed at. At present these links are loose or even missing, sources from Coalition 2000 said. The organization expressed gratitude to the secondary schools in Sofia with which they work, and their wish that the project be implemented all over the country.
