PRESIDENT CALLS FOR ZERO TOLERANCE TO CORRUPTION Pari - 2002/2/13
THE address of President Parvanov at the Fourth Public Forum on Fighting Corruption, organised by Coalition 2000, was focused on the need for clear definition of corruption. He spoke of the eroding impact corruption exerts on the constitutional order and statehood. Parvanov called for zero tolerance to corrupt practices which further have a devastating effect on the economic development and public confidence. Corrupt officials must stand before court. The conditions, nourishing corruption, must be eliminated, he said.
