Switzerland lifts entry visa requirement for Bulgarians BNN - 2003/10/30
Switzerland is lifting its entry visa requirement for Bulgarians under an agreement the two countries are scheduled to sign Thursday.
The accord is to be concluded during a two-day visit by Swiss President Pascal Couchepin to this country.
Couchepin is scheduled to meet his Bulgarian counter part Georgi Parvanov, Prime Minister Simeon Saxcoburggotski and Parliament Speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov.
Hie is also scheduled to deliver a lecture to members of the Center for Studies of Democracy, the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria and the Bulgarian Diplomatic Society.
Couchepin’s visit includes also a visit to the medieval Rila Monastery, 120 kilometers (75 miles) south of Sofia.
