Coalition 2000’ Publication Publicized in the Electronic Newsletter of the WMD ALL - 2005/5/11
The World Movement for Democracy publicized the latest anticorruption report of Coalition 2000 titled Anticorruption Reforms in Bulgaria in the May issue of its electronic bulletin DemocracyNews. The monthly newsletter, which was established in 2001, publicizes recent and forthcoming events and publications on democracy projects in 10 areas: Civil Society Strengthening; Economic Reform and the Business Sector; Elections; Human Rights; Internet; Media and Freedom of Expression; Labor Unions and Worker Rights; Political and Civic Participation of Youth; Political Parties and Political Leadership; Transparency and Atnicorruption; Women’s Issues. The recent publication of Coalition 2000 was publicized under area Transparency and Anticorruption.
World Movement for Democracy is a global network of democrats, including activists, practitioners, academics, policy makers, and funders, who have come together to develop new forms of cooperation to promote the development of democracy. The World Movement seeks to strengthen democracy where it is weak, to reform and invigorate democracy even where it is longstanding, and to bolster pro-democracy groups in countries that have not yet entered into a process of democratic transition.
