Bianor was Awarded with an Innovation Prize ALL - 2010/3/3

Sofia, March 1st 2010 - Bianor was recognized as an innovative enterprise of 2009 during the Sixth National Innovation Forum, which took place on March 1st, 2010 at the Sheraton Hotel in Sofia. The award was presented by the Prime Minister of Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Boyko Borissov.
Bianor won the innovation award for its mobile application iMediaShare, which reached more than 200 thousand downloads from Apple App Store only in 2 months after the launch.
iMediaShare uses technology that allows fast and easy sharing of multimedia content from mobile phone or web-based social networks such as Facebook, Flickr and Picasa. Through iMediaShare users can view directly on the large TV screen images or video located on their mobile device or in Internet without the necessity of cables, computers or additional software.
iMediaShare technology is the bases for iMediaShare Center concept, which enables communication service providers to offer new and attractive value-added services to their customers.
iMediaShare Center provides CSPs’ customers the option to store their photos, music and video files on a centralized and reliable place. Through this technology users can access their media files anytime, via mobile phone, PC, TV or other Internet equipped device. The solution offers a number of additional features such as sharing multimedia files, storing contacts, integration with other multimedia services (mobile TV and video on demand), a virtual digital video recorder and others.
Innovative Enterprise Award is a joint initiative of the Applied Research and Communications Fund, Enterprise Europe Network - Bulgaria, Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism, the World Bank Mission in Bulgaria and the Innovations Center of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
The President of Applied Research and Communications Fund Mr. Ognyan Shentov opened the forum. The opening ceremony was attended also by Mr. Florian Fichtl - Permanent Representative of the World Bank in Bulgaria and the Prime Minister Mr. Boyko Borissov.
